Forty-six air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Sept. 25 and Oct. 8:

The most common complaint, smoke and odor from a solid-fuel burning device, was reported 20 times.

Sept. 25

Odor of compost at Colbert Compost Facility was reported at 2:55 p.m.

An odor from a solid-fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, was reported at 3517 W. Sixth at 1:10 p.m.
