Ccs Soccer Escapes With 2-2 Tie

Chris Bordenko’s goal with 15 seconds left gave the Community Colleges of Spokane men’s soccer team a 2-2 tie with visiting Shoreline Community College Monday.

The Sasquatch (4 wins, 3 losses, 2 ties in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges) outshot the Dolphins 26-8.

Also at Spokane Falls, Sheryl Hovde had 43 assists and Josie Hopkins added 14 kills as CCS defeated Yakima Valley Community College 15-7, 15-7,10-15, 15-12 in a league volleyball match.

CCS raised its record to 17-11.
