Scott Mellanby scored two goals for the second straight game as the Florida Panthers beat Montreal 6-1 Wednesday night in Miami, continuing the early-season woes of Canadiens goalie Patrick Roy.

Gord Murphy and Stu Barnes each had a goal and an assist for the Panthers, who notched their second straight win under rookie coach Doug MacLean.
