Prison Releases

The following people were released from prison during September, according to the Washington Department of Corrections:

Taylor Miles Sentenced in Franklin County to 10 years, three months and three days for second-degree murder, Miles was released to Spokane after serving seven years, nine months and 15 days.

Brian Garner Sentenced in Benton County to four years, three months and one day for second-degree rape, Garner was released to Spokane after serving four years and three days.

Arthur Stephens Sentenced in Spokane County to two years, eight months and three days for sexual abuse of a child, Stephens was released to Spokane after serving one year, one month and four days.

Timothy Carlson Sentenced in Spokane County to five years, nine months and four days for sexual abuse of a child, Carlson was released to King County after serving three years, one month and 22 days.

Samuel McNeal Sentenced in King County to seven years, nine months and four days for first-degree robbery, McNeal was released to Spokane after serving four years, two months and 11 days.

Dennis Marshall Sentenced in King County to five years, nine months and four days for first-degree robbery, Marshall was released to Spokane after serving three years, eight months and 26 days.

Nelson Reynolds Sentenced in Spokane County to one year and one day for second-degree robbery, Reynolds was released to Spokane after serving one year, seven months and 26 days.

Karen Roseboom Sentenced in Spokane County to two years for second-degree assault, Roseboom was released to Spokane after serving one year, 11 months and six days.

Tammy Stebbins Sentenced in Spokane County to one year and one day for vehicular assault, Stebbins was released to Spokane after serving four months and 26 days.

Bryan Kiers Sentenced in Chelan County to one year and one day for assault, Kiers was released to Spokane after serving one year, seven months and 15 days.

Douglas Parrish Sentenced in Whitman County to three years, nine months and four days for second-degree burglary, Parrish was released to Spokane after serving two years, six months and five days.

Glenn Maclean Sentenced in Spokane County to one year, two months and one day for second-degree burglary, Maclean was released to Spokane after serving one year, eight months and three days.

Stephen Pennington Sentenced in King County to five years for second-degree burglary, Pennington was released to Spokane after serving three years, 10 months, 20 days.

Benny Smith Sentenced in Spokane County to four years, two months and one day for theft, Smith was released to Pierce County after serving three years and nine months.

Abdul Johnson Sentenced in Spokane County to three years, seven months and three days for theft, Johnson was released to Spokane after serving two years and 10 months.

Richard Barnes Sentenced in Spokane County to two years, 10 months and four days for property crime, Barnes was released to Spokane after serving one year, 11 months and 11 days.

Charles O’Brien Sentenced in Spokane County to two years and one month for property crime, O’Brien was released to Spokane after serving two years, six months and 15 days.

Clara Cabrera Sentenced in Franklin County to two years, two months and one day for drug crime, Cabrera was released to Spokane after serving one year, four months and 24 days.

Peter Downey Sentenced in King County to seven years, six months and three days for drug crime, Downey was released to Spokane after serving four years, five months and 22 days.

Ray Kyles Sentenced in Spokane County to one year, five months and two days for drug crime, Kyles was released to Spokane after serving one year, 11 months and 13 days.

Daniel McMillian Sentenced in King County to five years, seven months and 22 days for drug crime, McMillian was released to Spokane after serving four years, two months and 12 days.

Franklin Tobey Sentenced in Chelan County to three years, one month and 26 days for drug crime, Tobey was released to Spokane after serving three years and 19 days.

Jerry McMurtrey Sentenced in Spokane County to three years, three months and one day for drug crime, McMurtrey was released to Spokane after serving two years, 11 months and 16 days.
