New Talks Scheduled In Teachers Strike
Negotiators for striking Fife teachers and the school district return to the bargaining table today.
A session with a state mediator was set for 3 p.m. John Cahill, a spokesman for the Fife Education Association, said the union will present a counterproposal to the district.
The strike enters its second week today and the district’s four schools remain closed. About 2,500 students are affected.
