New Teen Advisory Council Guides Our Generation Section
Our Generation turned five years old this school year, and we’ve got a new Teen Advisory Council to help celebrate. This 40-plus group of representatives from the area’s many high schools will chart the course for the coming year.
They’re writers, listeners, talkers and thinkers. They’re the ones who make Our Generation what it is: a section for teens, written by teens.
It’s up to you to help them out. As representatives, it’s their job to meet once a month to talk about issues that concern today’s young adults. As a teen, it’s your job to seek them out in the halls and tell them what kind of articles and features you want to see in Our Generation.
Not everyone is pictured, but this is most of the 60 teens who serve on the council. If you’d like to get involved yourself, tell your representative or call The Spokesman-Review at 459-5456.
