Ucla Player Suspended For Fourth Game

Defensive end Isreal Ifeani, one of three Southern California players suspended from the team last month due to their alleged involvement with a sports agent, will not play Saturday at Notre Dame.

USC appealed the decision, but the Enforcement Committee has delayed any final determination until a ruling next week by the NCAA Legislative Services Committee. That hearing is a moot point since the Notre Dame game will be the fourth game missed.

Originally, Ieani was penalized for three games, but the penalty was extended when it was learned Ifeani accepted some money from his Nigerian tribesmen.
