Fbi Agent Goes To Oklahoma City

From Staff And Wire Reports

The Northwest’s lead FBI agent is moving to Oklahoma City to take charge of the agency’s office there.

Special Agent in Charge Tom Kuker’s new job will put him at the heart of the investigation into last April’s bombing of the federal office building there.

Since becoming Seattle’s top agent in June, Kuker helped coordinate investigative task forces made up of FBI, other federal agencies and local police departments.

He said he is proud of the work done by the Seattle Fugitive Apprehension Team, which helped catch Martin Pang in Brazil after he was charged in the warehouse arson fire that killed four Seattle firefighters in January.

Kuker was the assistant special agent in charge in Seattle for four years before being promoted in June.

The Oklahoma FBI office is slightly larger than Seattle’s, where Kuker supervised about 100 agents.
