Lobo Named Woman Of The Year

Rebecca Lobo, a Phi Beta Kappa who led Connecticut’s basketball team to an undefeated championship season, was honored as the NCAA’s Woman of the Year.

Lobo, the women’s college basketball player of the year and a member of the 1996 U.S. Olympic team, was chosen from among 392 nominees.
