Charles ‘Kenny’ Zinkgraf Mead
Service for Charles K. “Kenny” Zinkgraf, 88, will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Mausoleum at Fairmount Memorial Park. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Zinkgraf, a lifetime Mead resident, died Thursday.
He was a maintenance mechanic at Kaiser Aluminum for 27 years, before retiring in 1972.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rena Zinkgraf; three daughters, Donna Brisebois of Snohomish, Wash., JoAnne Zinkgraf of Mead and Nancy Hughes of Spokane; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two greatgreat-grandchildren.

June Epstein Coeur d’Alene
Memorial service for June Epstein, 78, will be today at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church of Coeur d’Alene. English Funeral Chapel of Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Epstein, who was born in Wisconsin, died Friday at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene.
She moved to the area in 1940. She had worked for Hart Drug in Coeur d’Alene and served as the Kootenai County Treasurer from 1967 until her retirement in 1981.
She married Howard Epstein in 1939.
Mrs. Epstein enjoyed bowling and was a member of the 3-Cs Bowling League. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, the Eagles Auxiliary and the Wommen Accountants. She was past president of Business and Professional Women and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Survivors include her husband, at home; sons, Richard of Coeur d’Alene; brothers, Russel and Donald Behnke, both of Wisconsin; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
