2 Die At Mount Rainier Park

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two Japanese citizens died and three college students were injured in a one-car accident in Mount Rainier National Park.

The two dead were identified as Miwako Suzuki, 21, and Keisuke Masumori, 24, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s office said Thursday. Suzuki was believed to reside in Japan and Masumori in the United States.

The car careened over an 150-foot embankment at Cayuse Pass on Washington 410 on Wednesday, near the scene of a fatal traffic accident two years ago, Chief Ranger John Krambrink said.
