Man Found Dead In His Car
The body of a man was discovered slumped in the back seat of a parked car at a Spokane South Hill park Friday afternoon by a friend who was looking for him.
The dead man is a 38-year-old Spokane resident, who showed no visible signs of injury, Spokane police Sgt. Larry Adams said. Police wouldn’t identify the man.
Foul play isn’t suspected in the man’s death, Adams said, but the cause of death hasn’t been determined.
A police major crimes unit detective was called to the scene because the man’s death is unexplained.
Police found several liquor bottles in the car.
The man’s girlfriend discovered the body after spotting his Ford Thunderbird in the parking lot of Thornton Murphy Park. She had been looking for the man who hadn’t been seen in a couple of days.
