Hospice Workers Need Help In Small Communities

From Staff And Wire Reports

Hospice workers are looking for volunteers to help terminally ill people and their families in the Reardan, Davenport, Creston and Wilbur areas.

Extra help is needed to support the expansion of a four-year-old hospice program created by the Okanogan Regional Home Health Care Agency, according to a statement issued by the agency.

Volunteers must attend a training session and be available three to eight hours a week to help a terminally ill person who is living at home.
