Olympics Field Grows

China, Iraq, Iran and Ethiopia are among the latest countries to accept invitations to the 1996 Olympic Games.

The International Olympic Committee said that Western Samoa, Mongolia, Brunei and Poland also had confirmed their participation.

Since the official invitations went out July 19, a total of 122 countries have notified the IOC of their intention to send teams to Atlanta.
