Bsu Cornerback Suspended

Boise State football coach Pokey Allen suspended freshman cornerback Kevin Chiles indefinitely after learning of Chiles’ misdemeanor charges of drug possession and delivery.

Chiles, 19, of Kent, Wash., was charged with intent to deliver illegal drugs and possession of illegal drugs June 27. He also was charged with illegal possession of alcohol.

His trial is scheduled for Dec. 14 - two days before the NCAA Division I-AA national championship game in West Virginia.
