Prep Player Found

A body found Sunday was tentatively identified as 17-year-old Scott Croteau, Lewiston High School’s football captain who was last seen Sept. 7, authorities said.

Lewiston police Lt. Andrew D’Eramo said the body was found at about 3:40 p.m. in a wooded area behind a drug store near Croteau’s home.

The body was tentatively identified by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Kristin Sweeny.
