Babbitt, Blm Boss Field Queries

A local Bureau of Land Management advisory council will talk with Interior Secretary Bruce Babbitt and BLM Director Mike Dombeck on Thursday.

Babbitt and Dombeck will field questions from the Upper Columbia and Salmon-Clearwater District Resource Advisory Council via teleconference at 9 a.m. The council is meeting at the Idaho Panhandle National Forests office, 3815 Schreiber Way in Coeur d’Alene.

Friday’s meeting includes a public comment period from 10:30-11 a.m.

The new 15-member council advises the BLM on its management of public lands.
