Helling Nails First Title

Don Helling won his first PBA Senior title, beating Larry Laub 245-193 in the championship game of the St. Petersburg-Clearwater Senior Open.

“I never really expected to win,” said Helling, who earned $10,000. “I just came out here hoping to make a little money and enjoy the sport again at this level.
