Whitworth Sets Another Record

Whitworth College gets more popular every year.

On Tuesday, school officials announced a record enrollment for the second year in a row.

Whitworth has 2,057 students signed up this fall, compared with 2,003 students last year at this time.

Undergraduate enrollment went from 1,403 students last year to 1,482 this year. However, the number of graduate students declined from 363 last year to 321 this fall. The college’s 394 incoming freshman brought with them a mean high school grade point average of 3.6.
