Nic Is Host For Five-Team Tourney

North Idaho College will host a five-team volleyball tournament tonight and Saturday at Christianson Gym.

Teams entered include defending national champion College of Southern Idaho, Ricks, Spokane and Yakima.

The top four teams after round-robin play advance to Saturday’s 3 p.m. semifinals. The championship is at 5.

Today, NIC plays Spokane at 3 p.m. and Ricks at 7. On Saturday, NIC faces CSI at 9 a.m. and Yakima at 1 p.m.

Benefit tourney

The Food Bank Volleyball Tournament will be Saturday at Quad Park in Post Falls. Cost is $20 for four-person co-ed teams. Info: (208) 773-0539.
