Richard McAuliffe Spokane
Memorial service for Richard W. “Dick” McAuliffe, 65, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Mausoleum at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of cremation.
Mr. McAuliffe, who was born in Anaconda, Mont., died Tuesday.
He was a driver-salesman for Consolidated Freight and was a member of Teamsters Local No. 690.
He had lived in Spokane for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lorraine McAuliffe; three daughters, LaVanne Moore and Christina Jones, both of Las Vegas, Nev., and Gerda McAuliffe Hodges of Spokane; five sons, Richard and Gary McAuliffe and Randy White, all of Spokane, William McAuliffe of Clarksville, Tenn., and Jay McAuliffe of Chula Vista, Calif.; two sisters, Verna Shoen of Las Vegas and Dawn O’Niel of San Francisco; two brothers, Jim McAuliffe of Brisbain, Calif., and Jack McAuliffe of Green Bay, Wis.; and 15 grandchildren.

Muriel ‘Mickey’ Boyle Spokane
Private service will be held at a later date for Muriel A. “Mickey” Boyle, 66.
Mrs. Boyle, who died Sept. 23, was born in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School.
She retired from Gulf Atlantic Warehouse in Spokane.
She was a 36-year resident of Loon Lake, Wash., and donated crocheted slippers, hats, mittens and hand puppets to Ogden Hall for Women and Children and to children’s oncology units at area hospitals.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Boyle; one son, Victor Boyle of Spokane; one daughter, Colleen Boyle of Los Angeles; her mother, Muriel DeMonder; one sister, Peggy Raymond, both of Spokane; and three grandchildren.

Lynn Curtis Federal Way, Wash.
Memorial service for Lynn G. Curtis, 62, will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Mausoleum at Fairmount Memorial Park. Bonney Watson Funeral Home in Federal Way is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Lewiston, Mr. Curtis died Tuesday at home in Federal Way, where he had lived for 15 years.
He had previously lived in Yakima, Cheney, Morgan Acres and Spokane.
In Spokane he worked as an optician for Northwest Optical and at Tom E. Day.
Mr. Curtis is survived by his wife of 36 years, Helen; two daughters, Susie Curtis of Des Moines, Wash., and Lynell Mooney of Maple Valley, Wash.; one brother, Gill Curtis of Rainier, Ore.; four sisters, Jean Newbill of Pasco, Gretta Watson of Sixes, Ore., Joyce Workland of Spokane and Bobbie Wheeler of San Diego; and one grandson.

Joseph Code Spokane
Memorial service for Joseph E. Code, 79, is set for 1:30 p.m. Monday at Holman Gardens Retirement in Spokane.
Mr. Code, who died Wednesday, was born in Lewiston.
He served in the Air Force in Germany and worked for Prudential Insurance, and then John W. Graham Co. for 27 years.
He had lived in Spokane for 53 years.
Mr. Code was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Spokane Camera Club.
His wife, Katherine Code, preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Helbling of Newman Lake and Joyce Eltz of Eugene, Ore.; one son, Ron Code of Crystal Bay, Nev.; and one sister, Gladys Guerin of Spokane.

Lilas Alexander Spokane
Service for Lilas M. Alexander, 74, is set for 2 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
Born in Latah, Wash., Mrs. Alexander died Wednesday.
She had worked as a certified public accountant for Jones Automotive, Thomas and Gasman and Patty’s Flowers in Spokane.
She had lived in Spokane for more than 70 years and had thousands of dolls and a valuable stamp collection.
She attended the Lutheran church.
Her husband, Robert Alexander, died in 1965.
She is survived by one sister, Ruth Peterson of Spokane.
John Conner Spokane
Private service for John Conner, 77, will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Conner died Monday.
Born in Seattle, he was a longtime Spokane resident and a sheet metal worker in the construction industry.
He is survived by three daughters, Dianne Bremner of DeSmet, Idaho, Kathleen Fairbairn of Colville, Wash., and Sally Conner of Spokane; his fiancee, Aisha Stanley, of Spokane; five grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Clifford Welch Clayton, Wash.
Service for Clifford Vance Welch, 95, will be at 1 p.m. today at United Methodist Church in Deer Park. Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Deer Park.
Mr. Welch, who died Tuesday in Bothell, Wash., at his daughter’s home, was born in Burnside, Iowa.
He had lived on his ranch in Clayton since 1919. He was an electrical engineer at Deer Park Pines Industries and retired in the early 1970s.
He was a member of United Methodist Church, the Moose Lodge in Loon Lake, Wash., the Clayton Grange and the National Rifle Association.
His wife, Edith, died in 1988.
He is survived by one son, John Welch of Westminster, Colo.; one daughter, Pearl Bryan of Bothell; six grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
Norbert Abrahamson Ford, Wash.
Vigil service for Norbert B. Abrahamson, 96, will be at at 7 p.m. Sunday at Spokane Tribal Longhouse in Wellpinit, Wash. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the same location. Burial will be at Hubert Cemetery in Ford. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Abrahamson, who died Thursday, was born in Valley, Wash.
He logged and farmed near Ford and was a fiddle player and square dance caller at the Community Center there.
He was a member of the Spokane Tribe of Indians and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ford.
His wife, Christine Abrahamson, died in 1992.
He is survived by two sons, Emil and Joe Abrahamson, both of Ford; one daughter, Genevieve Wynne of Wellpinit; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mary Anselmo Spokane
Vigil service for Mary A. Anselmo, 86, is set for 7 p.m. Sunday at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mary Queen Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Anselmo, who was born in Italy, died Wednesday.
She had lived in Spokane since 1916 and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Mary Queen Catholic Parish and Altar Society.
Her husband, Frank Anselmo, died in 1976.
Survivors include two sons, Michael and Frank Anselmo, both of Spokane; one sister, Rose Pettibone of Denver; and two grandchildren.
