Heuston Steps Down As Tidyman’s Ceo

From Staff And Wire Reports

Tidyman’s President and Chief Executive Officer Jack Heuston announced his retirement late Monday, according to the Spokane-based supermarket chain.

Heuston spent 27 years with the company, according to a company release. His retirement comes at a time where rumors have grown louder that the grocer may be partly or completely sold.

SuperValu, Tidyman’s supplier of groceries in the area, recently announced plans to relocate marketing and administrative personnel from its Spokane operations to Tacoma.

Tidyman’s will begin a national search for a new chief executive officer, according to the release. Heuston has asked Ric Odegard, a Tidyman’s board director, to work with him and act as interim CEO, the release said.
