The cousin of basketball star Alonzo Mourning, whose Potomac, Md., home was searched this week by federal authorities, reportedly has been charged with five counts of distributing crack cocaine.

The Washington Post reported today that an indictment released by the U.S. attorney’s office in Baltimore on Wednesday listed those charges against Earl Lee Nolton Jr.

The FBI has said Mourning was not a target.

Romania and Russia made strong showings when the women’s preliminaries ended at the World Gymnastics Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Amy Chow, one of several U.S. gymnasts in the bubble for an Olympic team slot, qualified seventh in the vault while Jaycie Phelps and Dominique Dawes advanced in the uneven bars in 13th and 14th places.
