Run Your Stories By Us

For thousands of people, Bloomsday is a rite of spring, like shedding snow tires and watching gardens grow.

But some of you are only now joining the bobbing mass of humanity that doubles as a road race.

What took you so long?

As part of The Spokesman-Review’s coverage of the 20th running of Bloomsday, we’d like to hear from people who have lived in the Inland Northwest for 10 years or longer and are entering the race for the first time.

Veteran Bloomies: Tell us your most memorable moments since the race began in 1977.

Got any funny anecdotes or horror stories? Have any old photos you’d care to share?

Call us on Cityline, (509) 458-8800 in Washington, (208) 765-8811 in Idaho, on a TouchTone phone, then press 9892 to reach the Bloomsday Comment Line.

Please leave a brief message followed by your name and phone number. A reporter will return as many calls as possible. Cityline is a free service, but normal long-distance charges apply.
