4 People Arrested In Marijuana Raid
Four people were arrested and 124 marijuana plants uprooted Wednesday when authorities raided three homes and a north Spokane business.
David C. Jeffries, 43, an owner of Big Wave Dave’s White Water Supply, 15 E. Walton, was booked into the Spokane County Jail on marijuana trafficking and manufacturing charges, police said.
His wife, Kimm M. Jeffries, 41, was arrested on the same charges.
Police also arrested Robert S. Clark, 31, and Michael W. Bass, 23, both of Spokane. Both are accused of growing marijuana.
Clark and the Jeffrieses were later released on personal recognizance, a jail official said.
The Spokane Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration raided Big Wave Dave’s and the homes after receiving a tip about a possible marijuana operation.
Besides the 124 plants and five pounds of packaged marijuana, $3,600 in cash, rafting equipment, two cars, a handgun, computers and other electronic devices were seized as drug-related assets, police said.
Police didn’t say where they recovered the marijuana.
