Dagny Wuennecke Priest River, Idaho
Graveside service for Dagny Teresa Wuennecke, 79, will be at 10 a.m. today at Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Priest River is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wuennecke, who died Sunday, was born in Eau Clair, Wis.
She graduated from Northern State Teachers College in South Dakota and worked as a teacher for seven years. She also worked on military bases in Texas and California during World War II.
She married Fred Wuennecke in 1943, in Long Beach, Calif. When he was discharged from the military, they moved to Priest River. He died in 1974.
She was a member of the Priest River Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Mrs. Wuennecke is survived by one daughter, Virginia “Jeannie” Ackerman, of Priest Lake, Idaho; two sons, Daryl Wuennecke of Kennewick and John Wuennecke of Priest River; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Shawna Siver Post Falls
Service for Shawna Ann Siver, 25, will be today at 11 a.m. at the Seventhday Adventist Church north of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Private Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry. Bonners Ferry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Siver, who was born in Walla Walla, died Monday from injuries received in an automobile accident in Bonners Ferry.
She graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1989 and later worked for Maiers Family Restaurant as a cook. She also worked at R Place Restaurant before moving to the Coeur d’Alene area in the early 1990s.
She recently worked as a waitress at Rosauers Restaurant in Coeur d’Alene.
Ms. Siver was active in track and was captain of the drill team in high school. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Arlaina Siver of Post Falls; her mother, Karrell Siver of Bonners Ferry; her father and stepmother, Randy and Helen Siver of Coeur d’Alene; two brothers, Seth Siver of Bonners Ferry and Sam Siver of Hayden Lake, Idaho; her grandparents, Helen Kenney of Bonners Ferry, Darrell Kenney of Utah, and Vernon and Lee Siver of Oregon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kurt Dodson Careywood, Idaho
Private family service for Kurt William Dodson, 45, was held at an earlier date. Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dodson, who was born in California, died Sunday from cancer.
He attended school in Long Island, N.Y., later returning to California to work in the construction industry. He also worked as a real estate investor.
He moved to Careywood in 1988 and worked at the Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Molly; five children, Ali, Willy and Joey, all of Careywood, Brook Dodson of California and Steve Fleming of Minnesota; his mother and stepfather, Lillian Dodson and Stanley Twardocwitz, both of New York; two brothers, Cory Dodson of Careywood and Scott Dodson of Hayden Lake, Idaho; his grandmother, Mary Ispas of California; and two grandchildren.
Chauncey Bryant Palouse, Wash.
Memorial service for Chauncey L. Bryant, 69, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse.
Mr. Bryant died March 11 at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona, from cancer. He was born in Kansas City, Mo.
He joined the Navy in 1945 and retired after 20 years.
He moved to Moscow, Idaho, in 1969 and managed the Moscow Moose Lodge for a short time.
That same year he married Florence Tinnel in Palouse, and they operated Quality Cleaners, which Mrs. Bryant had previously owned. They retired in 1978.
They kept their Palouse home and, during the winter months, managed Fisher’s Landing Campground north of Yuma.
Mr. Bryant was a member of the Fleet-Reserve Association of Washington, American Legion in Garfield, Wash., Palouse Lions Club and the Colfax Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; one stepson, Rod Tinnel of Wilbur, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Marjory Knott of Moscow; six stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-granddaughter.
Elsie Jamieson Spokane
Memorial service for Elsie Marie Jamieson, 83, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Riverview Care Center Chapel in Spokane. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Colville, Wash. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Colville. Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jamieson, who died Saturday, was born in Idaho.
She moved to Kettle Falls, Wash., in 1920 with her family and graduated from Kettle Falls High School.
She graduated from Whitworth College and from Eastern Washington State College with a teaching certificate.
She married Donald Jamieson in Spokane in 1934 and they lived in Stevens County. Mrs. Jamieson taught school for 12 years in Colville, Rice, Daisy, Kewa and Marcus, Wash. She retired in 1975.
Her husband died in 1989.
Mrs. Jamieson was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Spokane, the Retired Teachers Association and Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Macfarlane of Spokane; four sons, Bruce Jamieson of Warrenton, Ore., Ward Jamieson of Omaha, Neb., and Dean and Darrell Jamieson, both of Seattle; four brothers, George Rhoades of Spokane, Burk Rhoades of Woodburn, Ore., Tim Rhoades of Everett and Harold Rhoades of Otis, Ore.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Cecil Shover Spokane
Visitation for Cecil M. Shover, 80 is scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South. Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
Mr. Shover, who was born in Johnson, City, Ill., died Sunday.
He served in the Air Force from 1935 to 1959.
In Spokane he worked as an administrative assistant/purchasing agent for St. Luke’s Hospital until 1980.
He is survived by two sons, Russell Shover of Spokane and Craig Shover of Everett; one brother, Burl Shover of Sunland, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Beatrice Brys Coeur d’Alene
Graveside service for Beatrice Virginia Brys, 96, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Lynnwood, Wash. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brys, who was born in Colorado, died Monday.
She moved to the Coeur d’Alene area in 1991 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Coeur d’Alene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ann Greenback of Coeur d’Alene and Barbara Bee of Fall City, Wash.; two sisters, Francis Pocock of Seattle and Marion Bates of Sagle, Idaho; six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Carrie Hoyt Auburn, Wash.
Graveside memorial service for Carrie M. Hoyt, 84, will be at 3 p.m. today at Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane. Price-Helton Funeral Chapel in Auburn is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hoyt, a former Spokane resident, died Monday. She was born in Hart, Mich.
In 1942 she moved to Spokane from Chicago with her husband, Ellsworth Hoyt. She was a homemaker Her husband died in 1975 and she moved to Auburn in 1994.
She is survived by one son, Bill Hoyt of Auburn; one daughter, Louise Snyder of Dallas, Ore.; one sister, Ellenora Mason of Burt Lake, Mich.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
James Mauer Spokane
Service for James J. Mauer, 58, is set for 2:30 p.m. today at Pines Cemetery Mausoleum. Private burial will follow at the cemetery. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mauer died Monday. Born in Eau Claire, Wis., he served in the Army in Germany for 2 years.
In 1962, he married Charlotte Beams in Spokane.
He worked for Market Equipment for 14 years and Lambco Refrigeration for two years, until his illness kept him from working.
He was a 56-year Spokane Valley resident and was a member of the Eagles Lodge.
Mr. Mauer is survived by his wife; one daughter, Deborah Mauer of Spokane; two brothers, Gerald and Thomas Mauer, both of Spokane; and one sister, Sharon Pulver of Wenatchee.

Bernice Webb Richmond Beach, Wash.
Memorial service for Bernice (Best) Webb, 73, will be at 1 p.m. today at Beck’s Funeral Home in Edmonds, Wash.
Mrs. Webb, a former Spokane resident, died of cancer Friday. She was born in Colfax, Wash.
She graduated from North Central High School and was a homemaker.
She moved to Richmond Beach 32 years ago.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles Webb; one son, Jeffrey Webb; one daughter, Janet Torian; one sister Louise Black; three brothers, Glade, Wayne and Clarence Best, all of Spokane; and four grandchildren.
Ronald Gosser Spokane
Graveside service for Ronald L. Gosser, 91, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fairmount Memorial Park. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Shelton, Wash., Mr. Gosser died Monday. He was a 17-year Spokane resident, and worked as an electrician for 31 years.
He was a rock hound and square dancer.
Mr. Gosser is survived by his wife of 67 years, Myrtle; one daughter, Lorraine McAndrews of Wilbur, Wash.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Lorenzo True Spokane
Memorial service for Lorenzo L. True, 86, is set for 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Rockwood Manor chapel. Private family burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Spokane, Mr. True died Monday.
He was a graduate of Lewis and Clark High School and Washington State College.
He was secretary/treasurer of True’s Oil Company, until it merged with Amoco in 1959.
Most recently, he was chairman of True and Co., a family owned Spokane commercial real estate investment firm, founded in 1960.
Mr. True was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Spokane Masonic Lodge No. 34, the Scottish Rite Bodies, the El Katif Shrine, the Spokane Club, the Manito Golf and Country Club, and the Elks Lodge.
His first wife, Esther Thompson True, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Jean True; one brother, Paul True; one stepson, William Rogers; two grandsons, two stepgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
