Rosamond Crawford Burley, Idaho

Graveside service for Rosamond Brockmier Crawford, 85, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane.

Mrs. Crawford, a former Spokane resident, died April 13. She was born in Divide County, N.D.

She had worked as a Stanley Home Products manager for 20 years in the Spokane area and also taught kindergarten for a short time in Spokane.

She moved to Quartzsite, Ariz., in 1973 and spent the winter months there and the summer months in Burley.

She is survived by her husband, Jess Crawford; two daughters, Della Marvin of Auburn, Wash., and Verna Snider of Spokane; one son, Boyd Brockmier of Spokane; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Lawrence Jones Auburn, Wash.

Memorial service for Lawrence Edwin Jones, 44, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Yahn and Sons Funeral Home in Auburn.

Mr. Jones, who died April 19, was born in Spokane.

He graduated from Rogers High School and served in the Coast Guard for seven years.

He moved to Auburn 15 years ago and worked as a tool fabricator for the Boeing Co.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Velma and Elma Dinehart; one son, Nathan Jones of Renton, Wash.; one daughter, MaryAnne Jones of Seattle; one sister, Kathleen Chmura of Kent, Wash.; and his grandmother, Ida Butts.

Audrey Koll Spokane

Funeral Mass for Audrey Lucille (Harmon) Koll, 82, will be at 9 a.m. today at St. Paschal Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Koll, who died Tuesday, was born in Sherburn, Minn.

She was a 70-year Spokane resident, and previously worked at The Crescent. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Paschal Parish.

Her husband, Joseph Koll died in 1987.

She is survived by one son, Bill Koll of Spokane; five daughters, Carol Sackett, Kay Cheroke and JoAnn Koll, all of Spokane, and Midge Hartz and Nancy Moore, both of Seattle; four sisters, Doris Roller of Seattle, Helen Moser of Lewiston, and Voral Pohorence and Margaret Shearer both of Spokane; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

William Budig Spokane

Vigil service for William R. Budig, 87, is set for 7:30 p.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Budig, who died Monday, was born in Hoisington, Kan.

He had lived in Spokane for 61 years and worked as a driver for Lyons Moving and Storage and for Superior Auto Repair.

He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and the Moose and Eagles lodges.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Tresa Budig; one son, Donald Budig of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Leonard Budig of Spokane; two sisters, Mary Northart of Spokane and Jo Kanuit of Oxnard, Calif.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Winifred Ward Spokane

Service for Winifred Ann Ward, 78, is planned for 1 p.m. today at Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park. Burial will follow. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Deer Lodge, Mont., Mrs. Ward died Tuesday.

She graduated from North Central High School. A homemaker, she was a member of St. John Vianney Parish.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gordon Ward.

Paul Yount Spokane

Memorial service for Paul Yount, 50, will be at 10 a.m. today at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home.

Mr. Yount, a 46-year Spokane resident, died April 18. He was born in Canada.

He graduated from West Valley High School and worked for Bonanza Meat Packing for 20 years.

He was a member of Meat Cutters Union Local No. 690 and served in the Army Reserve.

Mr. Yount is survived by two sons, David and Robert Yount, both of Spokane; one brother, Barry Yount; one sister, Judy Ingrahm of Spokane; and three grandchildren.

Cheryl Campbell Spokane

Service for Cheryl D. Campbell, 46, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

Mrs. Campbell, who died Tuesday of cancer, was a lifetime Spokane resident.

She graduated from Ferris High School and Deaconess Medical Technology School of Histology.

She worked at Deaconess Medical Center as a histology technologist from 1970 until 1995, when she retired due to health problems.

She was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the Toy Train Society.

Her husband, Douglas Campbell, died in 1995.

She is survived by two sons, William and Timothy Rowley, both at home; one daughter, Susan Antonsen of New Windsor, N.Y.; one stepson, Colin Campbell of Coeur d’Alene; her parents, Al and Grace Nolting of Medical Lake; and one brother, Steven Nolting of Medical Lake.

Stephen Lyman Sandpoint

A public memorial celebration for the life of Stephen Lyman, 38, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cathedral Beach at Yosemite National Park in California. A local memorial celebration will be held later in Sandpoint. Mariposa Funeral Home in Mariposa, Calif., is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lyman, an internationally known local wildlife artist, died in an accident at Yosemite.

He was born in Oklahoma and raised in Lewiston. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif., in 1979.

He lived a short time in Oregon before moving to Idaho.

Mr. Lyman was named Artist of the Year in 1991 and Encore Artist for 1995 at the Pacific Rim Wildlife Art Show.

He was best known for his wilderness images, particularly of the Yosemite landscape.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea of Sandpoint; two sons, Muir and Jarre Lyman; his parents, Stan and Sylvia Lyman of Lewiston; a brother, Scott of Beaverton, Ore.; a sister, Shaune Lyman of Sandpoint; and his grandmother, Ruth Castle of Sumner, Wash.

Louise Doten Sagle, Idaho

No service will be held for Louise (Lee) Doten, 76. There will be an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the home of Hartman and Pat Gearhiser in Pullman.

Mrs. Doten, who was born in Dunseith, N.D., died April 10 in John Day, Ore., while traveling home from California.

She worked as an X-ray technician for several years at Pullman Hospital.

After she retired, she spent time living in Indio, Calif., and Garfield Bay on Pend Oreille Lake.

She was a member of P.E.O., a philanthropic and educational organization.

Mrs. Doten is survived by her husband, Bob Doten; one daughter, Jan Palmer of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one stepson, Dave Doten of Riverside, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Cathy Williams of Poway, Calif.; two grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Sarah ‘Sadie’ Cottrell Loon Lake, Wash.

Graveside service for Sarah G. “Sadie” Cottrell, 89, was Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

Born in Murphysboro, Ill, Mrs. Cottrell, died Thursday.

She was a longtime area resident, living in Loon Lake for the past 15 years. She worked as a bookbinder for Hill Printing Co. for 40 years.

She was a member of the Hayden Lake (Idaho) Country Club.

Her husband, Ben Cottrell, died in 1967.

She is survived by several nephews and nieces.
