Ricks Rocks North Idaho

Ricks College finally figured out North Idaho pitcher Tim Ayers Thursday afternoon.

For four innings, Ayers was dominant on the mound. However, a six-run Ricks eruption in the bottom of the fifth served as the foundation of an 8-0 Region 18 baseball win over NIC.

The game was played on the Treasure Valley campus.

The key hit in Rick’s fifth inning was a home run by Rob Lake.

Ricks’ Heath Ferguson struck out four and allowed just one hit to pick up the victory. He walked six batters, but NIC was unable to take advantage of his wildness.
