City Will Accept Grant Applications

The city of Spokane is accepting applications for more than $300,000 in federal money slated for groups or agencies that offer counseling, shelter and other social services.

An application workshop for 1997 grants will take place Aug. 13 at 10:30 a.m. in Conference Room 1A of the Spokane Public Library, 906 W. Main.

Neighborhood groups can pick up applications from the Community Development Department on the sixth floor of City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd., or call 625-6325.

Agencies can pick up applications in the Human Services Department, also on the sixth floor, or call 625-6130. , DataTimes
