The committee will consider increasing fees for building permits.

6 p.m. regular meeting

The council will consider vacating Cleveland Avenue from North Foothills Drive to Madelia Street. It also will consider vacating Crestline Street from 30th Avenue to 100 feet south.

City Plan Commission

Wednesday, 10 a.m. retreat, picnic shelter

High Bridge Park, 2400 W. 5th

The commission will discuss planning and development issues related to growth management.

Spokane Growth Management Act Committee

Friday, 9:30 a.m., second-floor board room

Spokane Transit Authority, 1230 W. Boone

Spokane County Commissioners

Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. briefing, Spokane County courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway

2 p.m. consent agenda, Public Works hearing room, 1026 W. Broadway

5 p.m. weekly board meeting, Public Works hearing room. Among other matters, the commission will hear comments on changing the speed limit to 35 mph on Buckboard, Boone, Fairchild and Deno roads.

Spokane County Hearing Examiner

Wednesday, 9 a.m., Spokane County courthouse, 1026 W. Broadway.

The hearing examiner will hear a request from Will Payne, who wants a zone change that would allow construction of four houses east of Ritchey Road.

Spokane County Planning Commission

Thursday, 9 a.m., Public Works hearing room, 1026 W. Broadway.

Unless otherwise noted, the above meetings take place at Spokane City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.
