Harry Greene Coeur d’Alene
Visitation for Harry L. Greene, 68, will be Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Funeral Home. Service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Open Bible Section of Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Greene, who was born in Thompson Falls, Mont., died Wednesday.
He worked for Northern Pacific Railroad and Consolidated Freightways. In 1972 he moved to Coeur d’Alene. He retired in 1990.
Mr. Greene was a member of the Lake City Sams Too, the Teamsters Union and the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coeur d’Alene.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie; three sons, Robert Greene of Spokane, Bryan Green of Montana and Darrin Greene of Cheney; a daughter, Merrie Kelley of Spokane; two stepsons, Kenneth Lantz of Nebraska and Stan Lantz of Coeur d’Alene; five stepdaughters, Deborah Bourne of Tacoma, Regina Palmer of Alaska, Cathy Banta of Post Falls, Darla Ota of Colorado and Terry Imron of California; two brothers, Vernon Greene of Oregon and Ed Greene of Arizona; and three sisters, Agnes Wright of Montana, Viola Jackson of California and Edith Bikle of Deer Park.
Opal Lorang Grand Island, Neb.
Gravesite service for Opal Lorang, 78, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens. Coeur d’Alene Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lorang, who was born in Nebraska, died Wednesday.
She lived in Nebraska and Colorado before moving to Coeur d’Alene in 1988 to be near family. She returned to Grand Island last year.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mrs. Lorang was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheri Stairs of Kentucky; three brothers, Lloyd Beliel and Dale Wetzel, both of Nebraska, and “Bud” Wetzel of Oregon; two sisters, Wilma Kenyon of Nebraska and Myrtle Peterson of California; and five grandchildren.
