Pair Arrested Trying To Halt Logging
Two environmental activists were arrested Tuesday when they locked themselves to a gate leading to a forest logging area.
The Cove-Mallard Coalition said the man and woman were taken to Grangeville by federal agents. They were identified only by pseudonyms.
The coalition said in a news release the pair locked themselves to a gate at the Jack timber sale in the Cove-Mallard area of the Nez Perce National Forest.
