Classes Offer Fire Protection Tips

Classes on how to protect homes from wildfires and landscape with water-conserving native plants will be offered next week in Stevens County.

The Washington State University extension office will hold 7 p.m. workshops in Colville on Tuesday and in Chewelah on Wednesday. The cost is $4; participants must register by calling 684-2588. , DataTimes
