Dr. Yvonne Rene Dechance recently became the bride of Marine Cpl. Gary Edmond Blackburn in a ceremony at the historic Bremond House, Austin, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of retired Maj. Richard Phillip and Gladys Audrey Dechance, Spokane. Dr. Robert M. and Virginia Blackburn, Athens, Texas, are the parents of the groom.

A reception at Bremond House followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Austin after a honeymoon in Orlando, Fla., and at Disney World.
