Democrats Pick Alan Wasserman
FROM FOR THE RECORD (Tuesday, August 27, 1996) Correction Peggy Wasserman, wife of Idaho District 3 legislative candidate Alan Wasserman, is a nurse practitioner at Panhandle Health District. The couple has three children. Those family details were given incorrectly in a Sunday article.
Kootenai County Democrats Saturday chose Legal Aid attorney Alan Wasserman as their Legislative District 3 candidate.
Wasserman will take the place of Cecil Kelly, who stepped down from the race earlier this month.
Wasserman is running against incumbent Republican Jeff Alltus, who was elected to the seat two years ago.
Wasserman is the managing attorney of Idaho Legal Aid Service’s Coeur d’Alene office. He considers his specialty to be helping seniors obtain assistance from Idaho’s Medicaid program.
“If elected I will continue working to make government responsive to the needs of all people,” he said.
Wasserman lives in Coeur d’Alene with his wife, Peggy, a nurse at Kootenai Medical Center, and their two children. , DataTimes
