Anthrax Breaks Out In Mongolian Cattle

Compiled From Wire Services

Already beset by forest fires, floods and a cholera outbreak this year, Mongolia now has anthrax in its cattle population.

Anthrax has killed more than 20 head of cattle in the northwestern Mongolian province of Hovsgol, China’s news agency said Saturday.

Anthrax is an infectious disease found mainly in sheep and cattle, but can also be spread to people.
