Pedestrian Killed In Post Falls

A Post Falls man died Wednesday after being hit by a car as he crossed Spokane Street at Seventh in Post Falls.

Robert C. Farver, 75, was taken to Kootenai Medical Center after the accident, which occurred shortly before 9 a.m.

According to Post Falls police, he was struck by a northbound Jeep driven by Richard Kriger, 39.

Further details were not available late Wednesday.

The accident remains under investigation, police said.
