St. Michael’s Falls Short

Charles Trautman, John Baur and John Tampien combined for 61 points to lead Daystar to a 76-74 non-league victory over host St. Michael’s on Friday night.

Dan Baarstad had 20 points and 12 rebounds to pace St. Michael’s. Paul Lakin added 16 points and 11 assists and Joe Lajoie totaled 19 points and 14 rebounds.

St. Michael’s, trailing by 7 with 43 seconds remaining, missed a desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer.
