Windermere Real Estate’s Coeur d’Alene office has added the following three sales associates:
Cammy and Mitchell Lawrence are new to real estate. A 1995 graduate of Central Washington University, Cammy Lawrence worked for the Bon Marche for nine years. Mitchell Lawrence has been a pharmaceutical sales manager with Hoechst Marion Roussel for the past 11 years and is a graduate of Idaho State University.
Lynette Wood, who also is new to real estate, has worked as a dental assistant and front office coordinator for four years. She also has four years of experience in retail sales and management.
Windermere Real Estate’s Kettle Falls office has added the following two sales associates:
Ron Latsha has worked as a commercial fisherman for 22 years. He has one year of real estate experience with MacPherson’s in Kirkland, Wash.
Randy Tinkham, who is new to real estate, has worked as an interstate semi driver and in heavy equipment construction for 14 years. He also has held management and supervisory positions.
Kelly Nolen joined Witherspoon, Kelley, Davenport & Toole, P.S. as an associate. Nolen has five years of experience in private practice in Texas and Alaska and will practice here in zoning, land use and environmental law.
Sterling Savings Association announced that Jerry Lyon was appointed to Valley area manager and Mark Thompson to commercial loan officer, both at Sterling’s Valley branch. Lyon has more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry and previously worked for West One. Thompson joined Sterling in 1996 and has more than 17 years experience in the financial services industry. He is a University High School and Eastern Washington University graduate.
Creative Resource Inc., a Christian public relations and non-profit consulting firm, hired Colin Moody as a public relations associate.
Richard Murphy joined Carpet One of Spokane - The Showroom Inc. as co-owner and president. Murphy was previously general manager of Ferrellgas, L.P. in Spokane.
SelectAd Systems a division of Mortimore Productions Inc., named Joel Hendrickson national sales director. Hendrickson has been producing commercials and music since 1980 for a national publishing house.
Lara Hansen joined the residential management department of Kiemle & Hagood Co., as an assistant property manager. Hansen formerly worked for Goodale Barbieri Real Estate Management.
The board of directors of Washington Trust Bank announced Donald Schelling as vice president and manager of business development for the commercial division. Schelling has been involved in professional service industries for more than 14 years and most recently served as director of business development for LeMaster & Daniels.
Lisa Phillips was hired as assistant vice president and advertising manager for the marketing department of Washington Trust Bank. Phillips will be responsible for the development and execution of all external advertising efforts and has more than 12 years advertising experience.
OH’Brine’s Pickling Inc., a Spokane-based specialty food producer, hired Randy Saisslin as director of marketing and customer relations. Saisslin previously held the same position with the Cottage Grove Healthcare Community in Cottage Grove, Ore.
U.S. Bank named Todd Edmonds vice president in its trust department’s Spokane office. Edmonds has been working as a trust officer and has been in banking for 23 years, starting with Old National Bank.
A.C. Data Systems, Inc., Coeur d’Alene announced the following staff additions: Brad Herr, director of finance and planning. Herr graduated from the University of Montana Law School and has 17 years experience as a business lawyer and CPA. Mark Scuitti, manufacturing engineer. Scuitti has 18 years experience and previously worked for Itronix, NEC and Tektronix. Craig Lenhart, director of sales and marketing. Lenhart worked for Output Technology for the past seven years and has more than 15 years experience in sales and marketing management. Beth Karita, executive assistant to the president. Karita is multi-lingual and has more than 20 years business experience in Japan and Sweden.
Moving Up:
The board of directors for Washington Trust Bank announced that Laura Gingrich and Ron Friedly have both been promoted to vice president and deputy controller for the bank’s finance department. Gingrich will continue her duties managing the financial, regulatory and tax reporting functions and providing financial and tax analysis. Friedly will continue managing disbursements, insurance, non-interest budgets and fixed assets.
Dakota Direct Inc., announces the following promotions: Pat Par was promoted to general manager of Dakotah Direct Inc’s. newest satellite office at Airport Park in Spokane. Par was previously senior team leader at the Spokane corporate office. Peg Schmitz was promoted to marketing manager at the Spokane corporate office. Schmitz, a Washington State University graduate, was previously an account manager.
Starting Up:
Heritage Inn in Pullman has broken ground. The 59-room hotel will adjoin the Hilltop Restaurant. Hospitality Associates is the management company for the Pullman Heritage Inn which will include an indoor pool, sauna and spa, kitchenettes, executive and spa suites, conference room and gift shop.
New Identity:
Targ-It-Tronics Inc., Melbourne, Fla., a leading contract manufacturer of flexible printed circuit assemblies, printed wiring boards and other assemblies for the electronics industry and a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Matthey Electronics of Spokane, has changed its name to Johnson Matthey Electronic Assembly Services Inc.

The Spokane Chapter of Professional Secretaries International has elected the following new officers for 1996-97: Terri Hayes, Washington Water Power, president; Julie Boyce, city of Spokane, president-elect; Gerri Sombke, Gonzaga University, vice president; Patricia Greer, S.L. The membership of the Spokane Country Club elected the following individuals to 1-year terms as officers for 1997: Dick Bingham, president of the board of trustees; Greg Hougham, vice president; David Levitch, secretary-treasurer. Dan Harbaugh, Ron Stoddard, and Mark Virden were elected as trustees and will each serve a three-year term on the board.
Appointed:
Dr. J. Courtney Clyde has been appointed to a three-year term as cancer liaison physician for the hospital cancer program at Valley Hospital and Medical Center. He is one of more than 2,000 volunteer cancer liaison physicians who provide leadership and support to the approvals program and other activities sponsored by the American College of Surgeon’s Commission on Cancer.
Kudos:
Swift Transcription Inc., was awarded top honors in the category of small private firms at the 1996 Northwest Work/Family Conference held recently in Seattle. The award recognizes companies that are creating better business through work/family initiatives. Washington Trust Bank also was honored.
Seven attorneys from the law firm of Lukins & Annis were named in the 1997-1998 edition of The Best Lawyers in America: Eugene Annis, business litigation and personal injury litigation defense; Thomas T. Bassett, bankruptcy law and creditor’s rights in banking litigation; James S. Black Jr., real estate law and tax law; Philip J. Carstens Jr., tax law; Scott B. Mark Nonnenmacher, vice president of AgAmerica Farm Credit Bank, has graduated with honors from Pacific Coast Banking School, an MBAlevel program of management education.
The Washington State Potato Commission has donated $5,000 to the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute. The City of Hope funds scientists and doctors involved in research for cures for cancer, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease and other life-threatening diseases.
The Washington Agriculture and Forestry Education Foundation received a $2,500 grant from the Washington State Dairy Products Commission of Lynnwood, Wash., to fund a position in its two-year Leadership Program.
