Woman Wounded From Shotgun

A 51-year-old Spokane Valley woman was wounded when a family member accidentally fired a shotgun in her house Saturday evening, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Department said.

Jacqueline Wood, from the 11400 block of East Moffitt, was hit in the back of the left shoulder about 6:15 p.m., said Sheriff’s Deputy David Reagan.

Wood was treated at a local hospital and released.
