Man Faces Kidnapping Charges

From Staff Reports

A man who jumped through a Taco Bell drive-through window to see his girlfriend Thursday night is being held in a Spokane County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Kelly Edwin Templeton, 34, faces charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree kidnapping after jumping through a drive-through window and leaving the Taco Bell at Third and Lincoln with his girlfriend, Beth Fuss.

According to a Superior Court affidavit, Templeton said Fuss, 34, willingly left the building with him. He also denies pushing two of Fuss’ Taco Bell co-workers when they left the restaurant.

Templeton and Fuss went to a hotel room and talked, according to the affidavit, and on Friday, the two spent the day together bowling and shopping.

When they discovered police were looking for Templeton, Fuss accompanied him to the police station, where he turned himself in Saturday. , DataTimes
