Eddie Gibbs hit two free throws with 20 seconds left Saturday to seal Coeur d’Alene’s 61-55 win over Centennial (Ore.) at the Pendleton (Ore.) Tournament.
Casey Hoorelbeke had 11 rebounds and David Wood five steals for CdA (5-2), the only 2-0 team at the tourney.
Chris Hall scored 14 for the Eagles of Gresham.

Pendleton took the lead for good late in the third quarter. LC’s Chad Cheeley scored 31, including 5 of 12 on 3-pointers, and Gabe Hern added 26, on 6 of 11 from 3-point range. The Timberwolves missed 27 of 38 free throws.

Lake City completed its domination of the Pendleton (Ore.) Tournament on Saturday, beating the host Bucks despite foul trouble.
The Idaho A-1 top-ranked Timberwolves (8-1) finished 2-0 at the crossover tourney. Pendleton beat Coeur d’Alene on Friday.
LC’s Alison Asher, in foul trouble all night, had 10 rebounds and six blocked shots in 16 minutes. Timberwolves point guard Katie Hatrock, who fouled out late in the third quarter, fed Laura Dodge for the go-ahead-for-good basket in the third.
Pendleton’s Sarah Keeler scored 14.
