Woman Arrested For Driving Stolen Snowmobile

Spokane police arrested a woman riding a stolen snowmobile this week after she was stopped for speeding.

Jennifer M. Mitchell, 20, 4508 E. Fourth, was arrested Tuesday for possessing stolen property.

Mitchell was stopped after a patrol officer saw the snowmobile nearly hit a fence and power pole near Fourth and Fiske.

The snowmobile was one of four reported stolen Monday morning from a Spokane address. Police couldn’t say whether the thefts were from a residence or business. Officers have recovered three of the four snowmobiles. , DataTimes
