Police Arrest Teenager After Man Robbed At Gunpoint
A 15-year-old boy was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with robbing a man at gunpoint, police said.
The man told police the teenager approached him in front of the Spokane Transit Authority Plaza about 1 p.m.
The teenager pointed a gun at the man and demanded his sports jacket, a set of headphones and a cassette tape, before walking away with friends, police said.
Police arrested the teen at Spokane Falls Boulevard and Wall Street with the jacket. Another youth turned the tape and headphones over to police and told them the teen had given them to him.
The handgun has not been found.
The teen was booked into the Spokane County Juvenile Detention Center on a first-degree armed robbery charge.
