Another close call, another win for No. 1 Massachusetts.

The only unbeaten major school kept its record perfect Sunday by winning its third overtime game in the last nine. Marcus Camby’s free throw gave UMass (21-0, 9-0 Atlantic 10) a two-point lead, and Edgar Padilla stole away Xavier’s final chance for a 78-74 victory in Cincinnati.
