Apple Applications Accepted Until Feb. 20

Student applications are being accepted for the Spokane School District APPLE program for grades 1-6 for the 1996-97 school year.

The program stresses parent involvement in the classroom, requiring 90 hours of volunteer time during the school year.

APPLE classrooms are at Garfield Elementary and Logan Elementary on the North Side and Franklin Elementary on the South Hill.

The deadline is Feb. 20.
