Purse-Snatching Suspect Identified

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man suspected of snatching a woman’s purse in the Spokane Valley last December.

Scott Lee Goode, 35, faces a first-degree robbery charge.

Detectives think Goode knocked down a woman leaving a bank at Sprague and Sullivan on Dec. 15, running off with her handbag.

A woman who reportedly drove Goode away from the scene turned herself in last week. Annette Steffenson, 46, was charged with first-degree robbery.

Deputies said Goode is a white man, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with brown hair and a beard.
