Harry Ireland celebrated his 100th birthday this week with a dozen or so friends at his home in the Valley.

He was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on Feb. 13, 1896, and moved to a cattle ranch in Montana when he was 6 years old.

When one friend mentioned this week that she’d never been to a 100th birthday party before, Harry replied with a big grin, “Me neither.” , DataTimes ILLUSTRATION: 2 photos
