Continental Airlines Will Expand Hubs
Continental Airlines on Monday announced expansions at its hubs in Houston, Newark and Cleveland this summer.
Beginning June 6, the airline will increase the number of daily departures from Newark to 359 from last summer’s 315. Houston will have 429, up from 406, and Cleveland go from 172 to 235.
Continental said the expansion will follow the elimination of some unprofitable flights and the receipt of five new aircraft this year.
