Beware of individuals posing as Washington Water Power Co. employees.

The company has received reports of people pretending to work for WWP in order to gain access to Spokane homes.

They then attempt to sell electronic devices and ask a series of probing personal-finance questions, the company said.

Police advise homeowners and tenants to get identification from anyone requesting access to their home.
